Review of a common man - 2011 Honda Cbr250r

I purchased my Honda CBR 250r on 5th June 2011 after booking it in February. Its a non ABS version since I find it affordable for me to buy but I recommend to buy the ABS version only. Since then its been quite a ride! Design is compact and sporty. Dials are clear though small. It can't be describe as beautiful but its very attractive. I like the ergonomics which are good. The paint quality is top class, palm grip is good and switches are good and solid. On starting the engine you get smooth vibe and sound. Love twisting its smooth throttle and light clutch. Engine loves to rev. Exhaust note is sweet too. Since I got A flashy Red on silver theme so its gets lots of attraction. Tyres give good grip but a slight loose tarmac either dry or wet will spin the rear tyre so you have to be careful. First there was some knocking which was resolved during its first service. The bike is running smoothly since then. Performance is very usable and refreshing. Just obeys your command changes mode from sedate to seductive on a slight twist. Loves cornering and absorbs bumps quietly. Still I haven't taken it on highway but in city(which matters most) its consistently giving around 28 km per liter. try avoiding to  take it out in rain since mud gets stuck in its radiator which is hectic to remove as it dries out soon due to heat. Its service interval ridicules me 1st service after 1 month of purchase. 2nd service after three months of purchase and the last one in the12th month of purchase. Warranty is for 1 year which is very low and is a problem, since you buy a premium vehicle like this. I don't doubt Honda's reliability but still 1 year is not enough. You can get extended warranty from the dealer though.

Please note- Atleast and always wear a strong helmet while riding any bike and always wear seatbelts while driving any car. Also suggest your companions too.
